Questions

How is the GMAT Focus total score calculated?

All three sections count equally. Your section scores (60 to 90 each) are combined and mapped onto the 205 to 805 total scale. GMAC does not publish the exact formula, so any calculator gives an estimate.

Can I get a 805 without a perfect section?

Very rarely. An 805 generally needs 90 or close to 90 in all three sections.

Which section matters most?

They are weighted equally in the total, but many schools also look at your Quant score on its own.
